Dear Jo Lynn and family, I´m absolutely devastated to hear the news of Jesse´s passing! What wonderful friends you two were to me. I know he was a wonderful husband father and provider. May your memory of him last a lifetime and his loss ease with time.

I had the privilege of attending law School with Jesse in mid 1980´s, which began a trusted friendship over the next 35 years. He was a natural leader as the South Texas College of Law school Student Body President and in his long law career as well. Everyone could always count on Jesse to be the "voice of reason", "to do the right thing" and to always ensure fairness, especially for those who could not speak for themselves. He was a "lawyers lawyer". His moral compass, big heart, and intellect was rare, but was noted by all who crossed paths with Jesse. Lots of love to Jo Lynn and their children. Rest in peace Jesse for a life lived well. Nick Lanza
