Mr. Jesse Marion Cone, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born February 23, 1952, in Montgomery, Alabama, to Oliver Cleveland and Bertha Harris Cone.
Mr. Jesse is survived by his brother, Cleveland Eugene Cone (Pat) and sisters, Mary Gallagher (David), Ina Brabham (Buck), Wanda Herring (Red) and Patti Woodfin (Reggie); twenty one nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents, Mike and Bertha Cone; brother, Robert Glen "Buck" Cone (Margaret) and sister, Olivia Cone Smith (Lamar).
He was a true and faithful servant of God. He especially loved the Holy Spirit, 60's rock and roll, Christian music, hugs and peanut butter sandwiches.
The family will receive friends Friday, August 16, 2024, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Jeffcoat Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be at 2:00PM at Oakwood Cemetery, 829 Columbus Street, Montgomery, Alabama, Michael Cone officiating, Jeffcoat Funeral Home Directing.
