Jesse David Cundiff, age 45 of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away at Nebraska Medicine on October 12, 2021. He was born March 10, 1976, the son of Kimberly Cundiff in Marshall, MN.
Jesse graduated from Bellevue East High School and later attended Brown University. He returned to the Omaha area where he was very involved in the music industry, including working as an event promoter for various shows and owning two record stores in downtown Omaha. He was an avid skateboarder, enjoyed collecting sports cards and vintage furniture and attending concerts. In recent months he became involved in Dart leagues.
He is survived by his daughter, Morgan Maas, Omaha, NE, his mother Kim (James) Bierma of Plattsmouth, NE, his siblings, sister Tamsen (James) Skala of Bemidji, MN, and brothers, Cory Bierma of Council Bluffs, IA, Travis (Ashley) Bierma of Omaha, NE, Lance (Jessica) Bierma of Lincoln, NE, and Jason (Jenny) Bierma of Crystal Lake, MN, his grandparents, Clarice Cundiff of Plattsmouth, NE, his uncle Wayne Cundiff of Plattsmouth, NE, as well as 13 nieces and nephews.
Jesse is preceded in death by his grandpa, Kyle Cundiff, and best friend, Nate Ness.
A celebration of life for Jesse will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the Aspen Room, 9809 M St, Omaha, NE, from 6 – 10 p.m.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE from 4-8 pm with family present to greet friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
