Jesse James Martinez was born on March 21, 1981, in Denver, Colorado. With deep sadness, we announce his passing on January 29, 2026, in Lakewood, Colorado.
Jesse was the beloved son of Vera Martinez and Jesus Gonzalez, and a proud and devoted father to David, Jessilynn, Mariana, and Andrew. His children and grandchildren Tobias and Charlotte were the greatest joy of his life.
A lifelong Denver Broncos fan, Jesse also had a deep love for music. He was a DJ and truly enjoyed every genre, sharing his passion and energy with everyone around him. Jesse will be remembered for his big heart—he was like a teddy bear to those who knew him—kind, caring, and always ready to make people laugh. He had a playful, easygoing spirit and a great sense of humor that brought joy wherever he went.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
