Jesse Moon

Jesse Lee Moon, 94, of St. Cloud, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 while surrounded by his loving family. Jesse was born on May 17, 1931 to the late Henry and Lola Moon in Chicago, IL and served our nation with great honor with the US Army during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1959. Despite his limit education, Jesse opened and ran a very successful Saw and Tool shop. He was a member of the Paul Revere Masonic Lodge F&AM # 998 and served as the commander of the motor corps of Medina Temple and opened EZ camp in Indiana. He enjoyed working and fishing, and flying, even owning a seaplane that he flew up until a few years ago. Other than his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his children Gail, Gary and Glen, brother Ronnie (Sue) Moon and sister Linda Eckel. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of thirty-two years, Laverne Moon; son Gregory P. (Tracy) Moon; grandchildren Kevin (Jennifer) Moon, Shawn Moon, Krystal Moon, Kyle Moon and Jessica Moon and great grandchildren Adian, Olivia, Carter, Jaxon and Brooklynne. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 4-8PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at the funeral home at 10AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jesse's name to the American Cancer Society or to Dementia Society of America.
