Jesse Leon Morrison, 65, of Springfield, IL, formerly of Durham, MO, passed away on June 6, 2025. Born on July 17, 1959, Jesse was known for his exceptional skills as a mechanic, a talent that brought joy and relief to many throughout his life.
Jesse had an innate curiosity about how things worked, which made him a natural at fixing any electrical or mechanical issue that came his way. His joy in tinkering was matched by his love for music, his devotion to the Miami Dolphins, his passion for traveling, and his love for animals. Above all, his greatest love was for his daughter, Jaci Noel Morrison, who survives him.He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Moeller and Shirley Gastler, along with many nieces and nephews. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie L. Morrison and Betty L. (Otte) Morrison.
A gathering to honor Jesse's life will be held at Durham Missouri Cemetery on December 6, 2025 at 1:00 pm. Jesse's life was one of service, kindness, and an unending curiosity about the world, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.
