He was born on July 19, 1960, in Richmond, Missouri, son of Bobbie E. Vanzant. He married Cathy O'Doniel.
Jesse worked as a machinist for an aircraft parts manufacturing company for many years. He loved watching the Kansas City Chiefs and being outdoors.
He is survived by a son Jacob O'Doniel, Richmond, Missouri; six sisters, Karen White, Carrollton, Missouri, Kathy White, Carrollton, Missouri; Marilyn Vanzant, Higginsville, Missouri, Scherilan Vanzant Carrollton, Missouri, Carolyn Motley, Higginsville, Missouri, Evelyn Vanzant, Blue Springs, Missouri, and a brother, Eldon Vansant, Jr. Lexington,
Jesse was preceded in death by a son, Zachary O'Doniel, a brother, Robert Vanzant, and his mother.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 8, 2024, 1:00pm at the Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Bittiker Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri.
The family suggests contributions to Shirkey Hospice, Carrollton, Missouri.
