Jesse James Pierre
1968-2024
Jesse James Pierre, known to everyone as "Pean," transitioned from his earthly home on Sunday, January 28, 2024, age 55. Son of the late Orelia Pierre and Jesse James Moore, Jr., born on September 27, 1968.
Jesse was a humble soul and valued everything life had to offer. In his spare time, Jesse loved spending time with his wife Coronda Pierre, kids, grandkids, family, and friends. He also enjoyed riding his bike and watching television. Jesse was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His grandchildren were truly his pride and joy.
He was an honest, faithful, and resolute employee at McCorkle Reinforcing for many years and became more like family than an employee. His former employer Larry McCorkle entrusted Jesse with many tasks. Throughout the years Larry stayed connected with Jesse and would check on him. Jesse carried all his work attributes to Dufrene Building Material where he was employed until he became ill, and again he became a loving member of their family. In his absence, he was truly missed.
Jesse departs leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories that will last a lifetime in the hearts of his wife Coronda Pierre, his children, Ashley, Ariah, Nikita, Darrel, and Jesse. His grandchildren Kaden, Saniyah, Iven, Kennadi, Jannero, Jr., Journee, Ariel, Dallas, Chase, Darrel, Jr., Legend Jaquan, Dakoda, Lionel, Carter, and Demin, Da'Laya, Sevyn, Ezekiel, Da'Niya, Clevon and Demi. His siblings, Sheila, Eric, and Johnny (Laura) Pierre.
He was preceded in heaven by his mother the late Orelia Pierre and his father Jesse James Moore, Jr., sisters Darlene and Charlette Pierre, maternal grandparents the late Georgianna and Arthur Pierre, paternal grandparents Clara and Jesse James Moore, Sr., niece Jessica Pierre, aunt Eva Pierre, uncles James and Junius Pierre, cousins Gary Angelica and Juanita Pierre.
Jesse is remembered and honored by his wife, children, grandchildren, siblings, and aunts. He was a deeply beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend who will truly be missed by all that loved him.

Airy Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life at 11:00am on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, 13635 Old Spanish Trail, Boutte, LA 70039.
