He is survived by the love of his life, best friend and devoted wife of 54 years, Marilyn (Roll) Shaver; his loving children, Linda Alexander (Mark), Jess Clinton Shaver III "Clint" and Ginny Shaver; grandchildren, Christina Kazemzadeh, Erika Kazemzadeh and Jess Clinton Shaver IV; siblings Howard Shaver (Melba), Joan Shaver Herman, Hall Shaver and Joseph Shaver (Janice); and many cherished friends. His life was defined by his passion for people, wonderful sense of humor, lifelong desire for mentoring others and his many achievements both personally and professionally. He made friends with people wherever he went and was an inspiration to all. He was the first, non-acting member of the Friars Club in New York City; a reservist in the Navy, a 50 plus year member of the Shriners and a 32nd Mason, serving the Masonic organization for over 50 years. Clint's greatest love was reserved for his wife and loving family that he leaves as his legacy. He was the best husband; father, grandfather, brother and friend that anyone could ever ask for. The ultimate leader of the gang will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Shriners Hospital for Children or Humane Society of Golden Valley. Marilyn,
I just learned of Clint's passing via a small notation in the Irem Temple newsletter. Learning of it at this late date doesn't make it any less of a shock.

You may remember that Clint recruited me into 3M back in the days that our part of 3M was called ThermoFax Sales. A long time ago.

My deepest condolences to you and the family. A personality such as Clint's will be missed for a long, long time.

God be with you!

To the entire family,

My condolences for your loss. There is never a time I didn't see him without a smile and a laugh. He was always pleasing others, often in my case, making sure I was selecting the best thing off the menu.

In My Prayers,

Kit Olson

Clint Shaver was a marvelous man that had a glint in his eye and a story for every occasion. I wasn’t fortunate enough to be with him very often but when I was, I knew I had been around a very special person. Condolences to the Shaver family for their great loss.

Marilyn and family,
I send my deepest sympathy to all of you. I have such fond memories of Clint and my father (John Scholl) is going to miss him. He was such a good friend to my dad. Clint was one of a kind he would always have really good stories to listen to and Clint and my dad had many adventures in their days. I am deeply saddened by his passing and Marilyn you are in my prayers.

Marilyn and family,
Ryan and I were deeply saddened of the news that Clint had bassed away. Those feeling are shared by all of the people at the dealership. It was alway a joy to have him come to visit, and share his humor and upbeat nature. he was a unigue friend, and will be missed by all.

So much made up Clint's uniqueness: his ability to make everyone he met feel unique, too; the huge laugh that seemed to pull you into a bear hug; the way he'd do anything to help a friend; his unwavering optimism in matters large and small; his love of cars, like members of his family; his total devotion to his family. One thing for sure: if you had Clint as your advocate, you had it made.

Adieu, my friend. [And by the way, I forgive you for being a Republican.]
