Jesse "Jr." Eugene Tedder, age 71, of Langley, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

He was born on March 24, 1954 in Anderson, Indiana. He was the son of Jesse Eugene Tedder Sr., and Ima Dean Draper Tedder. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Josh Tedder.

Jr. married the love of his life, Vanessa, on June 22, 1973. He was a devoted member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher. He loved playing his guitar for the Lord at his church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all he loved his family and loved being "papa" to his grandkids. Jr. was the best husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Vanessa Tedder of Langley; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Tina Tedder of Langley and Brett and Jessica Tedder of Kirby; his eight grandchildren, Bailee, Layken, Tensley, Ian, Blake, Kristin, Ben, and Owen; his great-grandchildren, Finley, Zaylen, and one great-grandson on the way; his siblings, Keith and Debra Tedder, Diane and Devin Owens, Klint and Sheila Tedder, and Eric and Carmen Tedder; his two aunts, Blenda Draper and Carol Woodall; his two special friends, Christopher and Chris Kelly; his two dogs, Bella and Daisy May; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Langley Hall Cemetery with Bro. Scott Feemster officiating.

Pallbearers will be Owen Tedder, Blake Tedder, Ben Young, Stephen White, Devin Owens, Luke Tedder, and Andy Tedder.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the men of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
