Jessica Danielle Blake

Jessica Danielle Blake, age 34, a unique and loving soul to many, passed away unexpectedly August 11th, 2023. Jessica was born in Salisbury, North Carolina on September 12th, 1988. She was also known as J-Byrd or Jessie by those closest to her. She always had a smile on her face and lit up a room whenever she entered. She had an outgoing personality and always drew people in where ever she went. She was never afraid to speak her mind. She was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She will continue to be loved more than she could ever imagine. She was funny, loving and cared about her children more than anything. Jessica is preceded in death by: Cathy Ann Wells, mother; Talon Guy Long, son. She is survived by: Zane Blake, Jaela Long, Darius Long and Adalynn Long, children; Crystal Brown (Monk), sister; Bill Blake, father; Carolyn Grooms, grandmother; Randy Long, father of children; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a niece. Jessica was loved by many and will be missed dearly. She will never be forgotten and will continue to live in each and every one of our hearts, every day that passes.
