Jessica Maria Hodskins Butler

Jessica Maria Hodskins Butler, 27, of Louisville, Kentucky died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville. She was born on June 26, 1982 in Owensboro. She was the Communication Manager for Masonic Homes of Kentucky and was a board member of the Public Relations Society of America Louisville Chapter. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Louisville. She enjoyed crafting, event planning and theater (acting). She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Avalyn Rory Butler on June 3, 2010, by her grandparents, Eck and Martine Hodskins and Donald Leonard, her aunt and uncles, Treasa and Larry Hodskins and Kevin Leonard. She is survived by her husband of four years, Nathan Butler; her son, Maximus Brinley Butler, who was the light of her world; her parents, William "Bill" and Donna Hodskins of Utica, KY; her mother-in-law, Connie Butler Parish (Boyd Parish) of Cadiz, KY; her grandmother, JoAnn Leonard (Bill Halter); a brother, Jerrith Hodskins (Crystal Lee) of Owensboro; a nephew, Vincent Hodskins; a sister-in-law, Vicki (Chris) Beaver of Friendship, TN and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services are at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Immaculate Catholic Church in Owensboro. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Church Cemetery in Browns Valley, KY. Visitation is from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Thursday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro where prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
