Jessica Dubel Obituary
Jessica Dubel passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2023 in Reno, Nevada at the Renown Regional Medical Center.
Jessica was born in Greensboro, NC on November 6, 1985. Once she learned to talk, she developed a real knack for making friends and being a friend. She loved the mountains, snow boarding and making friends, and her family.
Jessica attended and graduated from Our Lady of Grace School and Grimsley High School. She ran track and was a cheerleader at both schools. Jessica later attended the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude from the Terry College of Business and Finance in 2009.
Throughout her life, Jessica made friends wherever she lived and more importantly, she nurtured those friendships. If you were a friend of Jessica, you were a friend for life.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 2205 W Market Street, Greensboro on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 10 a.m. A reception will be held in the Kathleen Price Bryan banquet hall immediately after the Funeral Mass.
Jessica is survived by her parents Jack and Kathi Dubel, Greensboro; her sister Julianne Dubel, Seattle, WA; her partner, Steven Wells, and her beloved dog Smokey, of South Lake Tahoe, California.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Greensboro Urban Ministry, 303 W Gate City Blvd., Greensboro, NC 27406 or Out of the Garden Project, 300 NC-68, Greensboro, NC 27409.

I just learned the tragic news of her passing. I met her in Athens, GA and she was a friend. She was the same age as my son and two years older than my daughter. I´m thankful to have known her.
