Jessica Jasso Escalona

Jessica Jasso Escalona, a beloved figure in her community and a beacon of love and strength in her family, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2025, at the age of 48 in her hometown of Victoria, Texas. Born on July 7, 1977, to Romona Lopez and the late Ernest Jasso, Jessica's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and her deep-rooted love for her family and friends. She also had a smile that was infectious and lit up the room.
A lifelong resident of Victoria, Jessica's presence was a constant source of joy and comfort to those around her. She was a cherished wife to her devoted husband, Daniel Escalona, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. Their union was further blessed with three wonderful children, Syian Caballero, Daniel Caballero, and his wife Alejandra, and Christian Caballero and his partner Miranda Belmares, all of whom reside in Victoria.
Jessica's family extended beyond her immediate household to include her adoring siblings, Jo Anna Servantes and her husband Jessie, Ruby Zuniga and her husband Aldo Hernandez of Houston, Gabriel Zuniga Jr. and his wife Edna, and Joe David Molina and his wife Roxanne, also of Houston.
Jessica was also the proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren.
Memorial Service will begin Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 5 pm at Angel Lucy's Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 6 pm.
