Jessica Henderson

Jessica Marie Henderson, 33, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at her home in Hiawatha, Iowa. A visitation will be held Monday, July 1st, 4:00-7:00pm at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories Stateroom, 4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She is survived by her mother Laurie Sullivan and her husband Steve, her father Chris Henderson and his wife Shawndra; brothers Scott (Mandi) Henderson, Michal (Sadie) Sullivan, Josh (Kelly) Sullivan, and Levi Henderson, sister BreeAnna (Chandler) Krukow; maternal grandparents Larry and Debbie Smith, maternal grandmother Donna Smith, and paternal grandparents Mary and Jim Henderson. She is also survived by uncles Brian (Beth) Smith, Nathan (Maisha) Smith, Tim Smith, and Brad (Heather) Henderson, and by aunt April (Joey) VanDee. Jessica is also survived by nephews Grayson and Graham Henderson, nieces Addy and Ava Sullivan, Evelyn Sullivan, and nephews Keaton and Sutton Krukow. She is also survived by many cousins.
Jessica was born July 24, 1990, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She grew up in Lamont, Iowa with her Mom and in Alden, Iowa with her Dad. She graduated from Northeast Hamilton High School in 2008. She learned to weld and made her living as a welder and by running CNC machines. She was always a hard-working, dependable employee. Jessica dearly loved her nieces and nephews and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved animals, especially her two little dogs Jax and Andi and her cat Miss Kitty. Jessica had an artistic streak and used her welding skills to weld bits and pieces together into wonderfully creative pieces of art. Jessica also loved music and her jeep. Her all-time favorite hobby was fishing. Jessica had a warm personality and always thought the best of people. She loved being with her family, playing games and having fun. Jessica, you will be missed by all who knew you. We loved you dearly.
