Jessie Lee Brown, a proud veteran of the United States Army, and a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2025 surrounded by family and loved ones.
Born on April 14, 1936 to the late Jessie Lee Brown and Isabella Williams, he grew up with a strong sense of duty, compassion and faith. He answered the call to serve his country enlisting in the U.S. Army, where he served for 30 years earning the bronze star medal. After his military service, Jessie continued to serve his community with the same dedication he gave his nation as a courier with EDS and many other odd jobs. He continued to bring laughter and comfort to everyone he met. Jessie's greatest joy came from spending time with his family and friends, sharing stories of his life, and offering wisdom drawn from his experience and faith. His favorite quote was "Follow Instructions".
He is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother and sister Joseph and Josephine Brown, sister Virginia Brown. His first wife Bessie French, and their children Sharon Brown, Darlene (John) Woodard, and Granddaughter Candace Brown.
