The BHHS Class Reunion Committee
July 6, 2025
The class of 1971 of Benton Harbor High School extends its deepest sympathy to the Cloman Family. Jessie was not only a member of our class he has also served on the class reunion committee for an extended number of years, most recently spearheading the golf outing and the trophy presentation at the reunion. He has also served as our Master of Ceremonies. Jessie has continued to support his friends in Benton Harbor by being a constant presence when anything was going on in BH and as classmates transitioned or their family members. The miles have never separated Jessie from those he love in Benton Harbor. Our hearts are saddened and broken at the transition of our brother. Jessie often spoke of his family and his love and appreciation that he held for them.
We will miss Jessie beyond measure. We will hold onto the memories that he left.
Memories that extended from Main Street and Bard School to Hull school and Benton Harbor High School and the extraordinary life that he lived afterwards and his service to his community and beyond. Our world was better because Deacon Jessie B. Cloman Sr was here. We won´t say Goodbye, we will say see you later. You certainly made that dash between 1953-2025 an extraordinary run. We thank God for you and we know without a doubt that he has a reward for you our brother.

My deepest and sincere condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones who lost a husband, father, brother, and good friend.
Jessie will be sorely missed for his whit, one liners, love for golfing with his buddies, his wonderful friendship, and his constant and contagious praises, and giving thanks to the good Lord for everything experienced, no matter the circumstances. Period!
He was truly a joy to be around and good friend.
May he find rest in the hollows of God´s hands.
RIP!
