Jessie Hicks Obituary
Above all else, she loved the Lord and dedicated her life to sharing His Word. Her faith guided every part of her life and touched all who knew her. She deeply loved her family, finding great joy in time spent with those she cherished.
Jessie Lorraine also found peace working among her flowers, delighting in God's creation and nurturing beauty wherever she went. Her gentle spirit, strong faith, and loving heart will be remembered always. Jessie was born on January 24, 1938 in Decatur County, TN to the late Clayton Rosson and Lillie Mae Moore Rosson.
Jessie is survived by her daughters, Sherry Patterson of Bath Springs, TN, Ruby Sue (Don) Funderburk of Bath Springs, TN, Ann (Randle) Goff of Bath Springs, TN, Shirley (Bennie) Tucker of Scotts Hill, TN, Shelia Finley of Bath Springs, TN, Sandra Kay (Danny) Kelley of Decaturville, TN; Eleven Grandchildren, Twenty three Great Grandchildren and Six Great Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Opal Goodman, Ola Faye Duck, Odie Lee Stegall, Estelle Faulkner, brothers, Lamuel Rosson, Walter Rosson, Alford Rosson and son-in-law, Billy Patterson.
Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 4:00-9:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 from 8:00-11:00 am at Oakdale Funeral Home Decatur Co.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Welvon Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Hill Cemetery in Perry County.
