Jessie G Jones

Jessie Gearldean Jones, age 104, of Irving, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. Born on October 8, 1921, in Mountain View, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Mamie McGuire. Jessie lived a long and full life dedicated to her family, her faith, and her community.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Van McGuire, George McGuire, Flora Bell Sheen, and Edith Peterson. Jessie is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Peterson and Delta Walker; her children, George "Joe" Jones, Jerry Grantham, and Dana Hodgkins; and her many cherished grandchildren: Tony and Debbie Grantham, Brent Morris, Tiffany and Bobby Garrett, Crystal Morris, Missy and Ryan Lee, Cindy and Lee Weaver, Tanya Milner, and Blaine and Lizzie Jones. She also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.
A longtime member of Beltline Road Church of Christ in Irving, Jessie was deeply involved in the church's Mission Printing ministry, where she devoted countless hours to sharing her faith and serving others. Her passion for service and her unwavering devotion to the Lord were central to her life.
Jessie's warm spirit, generosity, and steadfast faith touched the lives of all who knew her. She was known for her strength, her gentle heart, and her abiding love for her family. She leaves behind a rich legacy of faith, devotion, and love, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Celebration of Life service will be 12:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Beltline Road Church of Christ in Irving, Texas. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM until service at the church, Monday.
