Jessie Lou Demoss Obituary
Mrs. Jessie Lou Lovins Demoss, age 91, of Lewisburg, TN, died Thursday, December 12, 2024. Born in Marshall Co., Mrs. Demoss was a daughter of the late Alfred Lovins and Jessie Lucinda Anderson Lovins and the widow of Oliver Clayton Demoss. She loved music, playing her guitar, being with her grandchildren, dogs and going to church. In addition to her parents and husband Mrs. Demoss was preceded in death by a daughter, Clara Louise Jernigan, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
Survivors are her daughter, Mary (Mark) Braden of Lewisburg, TN; 3 sons, Johnny Jernigan, Gary Demoss and Larry Demoss, all of Lewisburg, TN; 2 sisters, Janie Anderson of the Flat Creek Community in Williamson Co. and Louise Phillips of Lewisburg, TN; a brother, John Lovins of Lewisburg, TN; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 20, 2024 at Harris Cemetery in Marshall Co. Visitation will be at the cemetery at 1pm.
