Jessie Miller Obituary
Jackie was saved by God's grace in her late teens. She joined Piper's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in the mid 1950's where she remained a member until she went to Heaven.
She enjoyed working at many different occupations including substitute teaching in her later years. However, her favorite was working with her many friends at Kentucky Electronics.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Miller; granddaughter, Amanda Faye Graves-Stafford; son-in-law, Glenn Graves; brother, Robert Glover; sisters, Martha Graves, Mauddeen Graves and Kathleen Hankins.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda G. Graves and Sharon (Speedy) Cope; grandchildren, Marvin L. (Stacey) Graves, Michael L. Cope and Brooke D. (Chaz) Newton; great-grandchildren, Hunter D. (Hannah) Penick, Miller A. Penick and one on the way.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 19th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at Portland with Bro. Joey Hackett and Bro. Jackie Stagner officiating. Interment will follow the service at Old Brush Cemetery with Michael Cope, Hunter Penick, Chaz Newton, Adam Stafford, Danny Key, Darrell Withers, Tim Tomlinson and Jeff Spurgeon serving as pallbearers. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 18th from 12:00-9:00 PM and Thursday, March 19th from 10:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
