November 23,2025, God called another child of His home. Jessie Marie Wilson, 61, of Cleveland, TN joined her Dad, Earl Ellison Sr and Mom, Mary Elizabeth Ellison in Heaven. She was at last reunited with her firstborn son, Victor Lee Higgs Jr, as she was embraced in the loving arms of the love of her life, her husband Michael Lynn Wilson Sr.
Sadly, she had to leave behind her two sons Bobby (Pamela) Wilson of Cleveland, TN and Michael {Katisha} Wilson of Blue Ridge, GA. One Stepdaughter, Jennifer Lemons of Cleveland TN.
Her greatest passions in life was her grandbabies, Edward, Katelyn, Miyah, Jayden, James Ledford Jr, and Tanner. As well as several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Earl Ellison Jr, Robert Ellison, Timothy, and Jimmy Ellison. Without a doubt, she is now dancing in Heaven with her Sisters Connie Flowers, Sue Milsaps, and Audra Elrod.
Unfortunately, she leaves behind her three Sisters, Tena {Tony} Wilson of Cleveland TN, Sandy (Stanley}Heath of Rising Fawn, GA, and Dottie Ann Whitt of Wichita, KS. One surviving brother Sonny {Dorothy} Ellison of Hixson, TN.
Jessie never took life for granted and always saw the good in everyone. When the term Angel on Earth comes to thought, its a pure description of what she was. She leaves behind several devoted nieces and nephews to mourn her loss as well.
Jessie will be laid to rest Monday, December 1,2025, at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland TN. Family and Friends are welcome to attend her Visitation from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home, Ridge Chapel. The service will begin immediately after at 1:00. The Family has requested someone very near and dear to her heart, Reverend Winifred Lee Truelove to officiate her service.
In tribute to her, we ask if possible wear purple. This was her favorite color.
