Jesus Alvarez Zamora Obituary
Jesus Alvarez Zamora passed away in Salinas, Ca on Saturday, December 20th, 2025.
He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on June 4th, 1971, to his parents Uriel Alvarez and Josefina Zamora, but was a longtime resident of Watsonville, Ca where he would later raise his own family.
Jesus was a hardworking farmer by trade, who loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed going on walks with his beloved dog Rocky. He was also a big fan of soccer and liked to watch his favorite team Cruz Azul in his free time.
Jesus is survived by his siblings Gloria, Lupe, Uriel, Maria Elena, Jose, and Cecilia, as well as his children Arturo and Esmerelda Alvarez, and his grandchild Eduardo Luna Alvarez.
A Viewing will be held for Jesus on Monday, January 5, 2025, at 5PM, with a Rosary at 7PM, at Ave Maria Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will take place the following morning on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, at Our Lady of the Assumption Church at 11AM, followed by a burial.
In lieu of flowers and to help the family cover funeral expenses, we gratefully ask that any donations be made to Esmerelda Alvarez.
