Obituary For Jesus Villicaña Coria

Jesus (Jess) was born in Wilmington, California to Maria and Antonio Coria. He was the eldest of their 8 children, Sara Jaimes, Margaret Gallianius, Connie Ruiz, Carmen Jaramillo and Antonio Coria, Jr. Jess was preceded in death by sisters Lupe Duran and Maria Luisa Coria.

Jess' early years were spent in the San Joaquin Valley until the age of 9 when his family moved to Decoto. At the age of 18, Jess served in the United States Army Medical Corps. Jess met the love of his life at the age of 22 and married Emma Martinez of Niles on November 25, 1951.

Jess and Emma were blessed with 8 children, Maria Dolores Madrigal, Sylvia Avila, Antonio Coria, Lupe Sierra and Cecilia Salinas. He was preceded in death by sons Jesse, Alex and Michael.

Jess was employed at Pacific States Steel as a Pit Boss for 28 years. In 1980, Jess and Emma opened and were co-owners of "El Jarrito" in Union City and "Mission Jarrito Mexican Restaurant" in Fremont for 31 years with their daughter and son-in-law.

Jess was loved and cherished and will be missed by all of his children, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, siblings and many loving nieces and nephews, godchildren, compadres and friends.
