Jethro David
Age 5, of Penn Hills, unexpectedly on Monday, April 3, 2023 went to the warm embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ; Cherished son of Patrick and Summer (Linscott) Smith; loving big brother to Titus and Sidon; beloved grandson of Barry and Laurel Smith, as well as Carl and Rachel Linscott. Jethro was a shining light in the lives of his parents. Jethro greatly enjoyed going to the zoo almost every weekend in the summertime, riding on his daddy's back to see the animals. He loved all animals but had a great enjoyment of reptiles in particular. He adored his brothers and would go to great lengths to see them smile. His favorite foods were pepperoni pineapple pizza and chips with hummus. He liked machines, things he could build or take apart, especially puzzles, board games and legos. He loved to find things that are good for squeezing and smushing. As a preschool student, he had an aptitude for math and loved to socialize. He loved his best friends at school, Kingston and Maxwell. He loved to climb and slide on anything he could. His caring heart, zeal for life, intelligence and curiosity were a great joy for all those around him. Friends received, Saturday, 10:00am until a Memorial Service at 11:00am in Rolling Hills Baptist Church, 120 Gernert Drive, Verona, PA 15147. Arrangements entrusted to Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd.

Love you guys so much! Im so so sorry for your terrible loss. I remember babysitting him and was very upset to hear the news. Im sure he is happy and viewing us from heaven with his great grandmother! God bless, you are in my prayers.
