Mrs. McMichen was born October 31, 1942 in Cobb County, Georgia to Mr. Herman Thomas James Tumlin and Mrs. Maggie Lois Orr Tumlin. She worked as a para-legal. She was married to Mr. Junior McMichen for many years before his passing.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, Mr. Junior McMichen; Son, Mr. Jason McMichen; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman (Lois) Tumlin; Brother, Mr. Wendell Tumlin (Sybil) and Mr. John Tumlin.
She is survived by: Ms. Jinger McMichen; Grandchildren, Hunter Blackburn, Cade Sharp, Tyler Williams and Ashleigh Elkins (Tyler); Sister in Law, Mrs. Geneva Lawrence; Brother and Sister in Law, Mr. Jerry (Cecilia) McMichen.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Jewel McMichen will be held Sunday, June 22, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Don Rackley will officiate.
Visitation for Mrs. McMichen will be Sunday, June 22, 2025, 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
