Jill Renee Cook (Tetlow), age 65, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Moss Bluff, Louisiana. Born on August 19, 1960, in Basile, Louisiana, Jill lived a life marked by strength, faith, and love for her family.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas G. Cook and a devoted mother to her daughter Joy R. Cook-Hastings and son Thomas G. Cook Jr. Her grandchildren, Karlee R. Hastings and Landon Hastings, brought immense joy to her life. She is also remembered by her sister Tina Tetlow and brother Jody Tetlow.

Jill was preceded in death by her mother Beverly Marcantel, father Frank Tetlow, and sister Jan Andrus.

Her journey with Huntington's disease was long and challenging, yet she met it with remarkable resilience. On her 65th birthday-August 19, 2025-Jill became the longest-living person with Huntington's disease on record, a milestone that reflected her enduring determination.

Family was at the heart of Jill's world. She cherished time spent with loved ones and created lasting memories through shared laughter and heartfelt encouragement.

A celebration of Jill's life will be held at Resurrection Life Church in Moss Bluff, Louisiana on Nov 2, 2025.
