Waukesha, WI - Jill Arline Schlei passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on April 11, 1963, Jill was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and quiet grace touched all who knew her.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Duane; her loving daughters, Kayla (Tony) and Krista; her cherished grandchildren, Talina, Malia, Kyrie, Malik, and Zoraya; and her brother, Joseph Dzbinski. Jill's family was the light of her life, and she found her greatest happiness in the time spent with them.
Jill spent much of her life working as a bartender, where her natural warmth, quick wit, and easygoing spirit made her a favorite among regulars and coworkers alike. She had a gift for making people feel welcome, listened to, and at home - whether they were old friends or strangers walking in for the first time. Her work wasn't just a job; it was another way she shared her generosity and light with the world.
Throughout her illness, Jill was surrounded by many friends who stood by her side with unwavering support and love, a testament to the lasting bonds she created throughout her life.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering love, and the quiet strength with which she faced life's challenges. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the WALES-GENESEE LIONS CLUB, located at S42 W31400, 1912 WI-83, Genesee Depot, WI 53127. All who knew and loved Jill are warmly invited to attend and share memories.
