Jim Campbell Obituary

Mr. Campbell, son of the late James Eskew Campbell and Ruby Shaw Campbell, was born August 6, 1953 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His love of motorcycles & fast cars led to a lifelong career as a mechanic. He was an avid outdoorsman; kayaking and hiking with friends. He was a member of the Tennessee Valley Canoe Club and used his skill to be a guard during Iron Man competitions. Mr. Campbell also enjoyed playing darts and competed in dart tournaments throughout the country. He was passionate about music. He loved the blues and strummed his fingers on the steering wheel regardless of what was playing
He was a quite and reserved man; very patient, and funny. A quick smile made him easy to talk to. He was a diligent friend and father. He always wanted to help others no matter how big or small the task. He will be missed and fondly remembered
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Campbell; and a brother, Cletus Campbell.
Mr. Campbell is survived by two daughters, Rebecca (Jessie) Cook and Wendy (Justin) Lewellen; two sons, David (Katie) Campbell and Adam Campbell; other relatives and friends.
