Eva - I was so sorry to hear of Jim's death. I am praying for you.

Eva,
Larry and I share your sorrow in Jim's passing. He touch thousands of lives during his career in Wise County Schools, from students who rode his school bus, students in his classroom, teachers, administrators in the school system, and many others. He will be sadly missed, but remembered for his achievements. I was happy to have been a teacher in the Wise County Schools system when he was superintendent.

Eva and family, I was so sad to hear about Jim. I have fond memories of visiting your home with Lynn when I was a child and it was so nice to spend time with both of you the weekend of your 50th anniversary celebration in August. It was a joy to see a couple so devoted to each other and so in love after fifty years. May God watch over you in this difficult time.

Dear Eve, Kelly and Mark, we are sadden to learn of the death of Jim. In his own quite manner and with his wonderful smile he could conquer the world. What wonderful times we all had together in our travels. Let's not forget those precious moments. We love your and our prayers are with you.

Eva, How very sad Jim and I are to hear of your loss. I remember 50 years ago when you got married and lived in St. Paul. Jim was a wonderful husband and father and achieved so much for Wise County. I was always proud to think of him leading the schools in the county in which we all grew up. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Mark and Kelly.

Mark, I feel so lucky to have met your father. I was both inspired and humbled by the number of people at your parents' anniversary party who couldn't quit talking about what a loyal friend and accomplished educator he was.
Eva, congratulations for the 50 years you had in holy matrimony with such a wonderful individual. I was sorting through some cards the other day and came across the one you had sent. What an honor and privilege to have participated in your wedding anniversary.
I'm sorry to all of you for your great loss. The world has lost an extraordinary human being.

There is a special bond between a father and her daughter that no one knows or understand but the daughter and her father, cherish the memories and in time things will become easier. It is the hardest thing in the world to loose your father and friend but remember he is not suffering anymore and he is still there to watch over you as your guardian angel. If there is anything we can do just call.

Dear Eva, I met you and Jim many years ago when Lynn & I were very young. I know how very special Jim was to Helen and Lynn. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I've heard it said that the angels are always close to those who are grieving, to whisper to them that their loved ones are safe in the hand of God. God bless you all during this time.

Helen, may your sweet brother rest in peace. I know this Christmas will be hard for you but may the wonderful memories you have of Christmases past help you through this difficult time. Lynn, you're in my thoughts and prayers. Over the past 40 years of our friendship I've heard many stories of "Jim'nEva" and I know Uncle Jim will be missed by all of you.

Mark, Tonya, and Colin: I personally know what it's like to lose a parent...and a father. I only met him once at your wedding...he was so funny that night.

What an honor to say Jim was my uncle. I have MANY fond memories including how he would keep me out of trouble with my parents. I will never forget the fun times at Christmas. Jim Graham was a beacon of leadership in what became the lighthouse school division of SW Virginia. He was also one of my very special friends.

I will miss him.

Dick and I are so very sorry for your loss. It was so nice to be able to spend some time with my cousin Jim at your home during the family gathering a few years back. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to spent much time with Jim but I remember mother and daddy (Cleo and Paul) speaking so highly of him. Again, we are sorry, but because of our work schedules, we will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral service. Please know that you will be in our prayers.
