Jim Jensen Obituary

Jim was born on November 21, 1961, in Perry, Iowa, the son of Allen and Linda (Madren) Jensen. He attended North Polk High School in Alleman, graduating with the Class of 1980.
Jim began his career driving a feed truck for Cargill and Whiton's before helping local farmers transport their grain. Known for his mechanical skills, Jim could fix just about anything and was always the first person his friends called when they needed a hand.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen.
Jim is survived by his mother, Linda of Ankeny; his sister, Debbie (Jonathan) Koughn of Niangua, Missouri; and his niece, Jessica (William Lifer) Simmer of Waukee, Iowa.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Iles Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
