Jim was truly a man's man as well as deeply religious. A perfect example for fathers and husbands. Rest in Peace.

I grew up in Beaver Falls several years younger than Jim. He was a real hometown model for many young men aspiring to play football and those not. He was known throughout the school and community not only for his athletic ability but equally as much for his moral character. I am sure he was equally admired by Joe Namath, another hometowner. A life well lived. Ray Murphy

To Steve and the rest of the Mutscheller family. I was deeply saddened when I read about the passing of your father. He was a great man. The couple of times I ran into him are memorable because of the way he treated me with respect and sincerity. He will be missed.

Enjoyed watching him play football.A Golden Domer, veteran, and simply a man who lived with honor and integrity! Man just yesterday, we were all much younger. Gems like this don't come along very often. Thank you Jim, for all you were and did. I am also HONORED to be considered a fellow veteran! Bless your memory and prayers go out to all of your family.

Our condolences to the Mutscheller family, many friends and colleagues. May you find comfort in your many fond memories together, God's promise to undo all tragedy and sorrow, and the words of the greatest man who ever lived: 43.....Lazarus, [JIM], come out! 44 The man who had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them: Free him and let him go. John 11:43,44
