Jim Runyan, Jr.
1932-2025
Jim Runyan, Jr., 92, Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025.
He was born October 8, 1932 to James L., Sr. and Mildred N. (Woodbury) Runyan in St. Joseph, Missouri.
He married Mary Jo Moran on February 11, 1956.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jack Runyan.
Survivors include his wife; children, Larry Runyan (Kathy), Betsy Medina (George), Cathy Wixson (Scott), Meg Stafford (Tom), Annie Kremers (Doug), Joe Runyan (Lena), and James Hudgens (Jenny); grandchildren, Jen, Cam, Jo, Jane, Eli, Kathleen, Ryan, Kelly, Catherine, Grace, Ellie, Henry, Emma, Jimmy, Austin, Sam, and Tori; great grandchildren, James, Luke, Ben, Jack, and Owen; siblings, Mary Lynn Sheehy and Tom Runyan (Jackie).
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Friday, St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Parish Rosary 5:30 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where the family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Ascend Hospice or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
