Jim Willard Sever was born December 1, 1944 in Greenville, FL and died on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, peacefully at home in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by his family.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years Juanita Sever of Perry, FL; his Father Charles Eason Sever, Mother Nellie Mae Sever and Brother J.H. Sever.

He is survived by his children, Danny (Laura) Sever of Hilliard FL and Regina (Jim) Livermore of Jacksonville FL. Jim had 5 grandchildren - Ashley Lira (Kevin), Jason Sever, Lyndsey Chitty, Wes Livermore (Valentina) and Ethan Sever . Ten great-grand children - Landen, Mason, Remington, Forest, Sophie, Sienna, Jake, GiGi, Mia and Emmy as well as many nieces and nephews.

He married the love of his life on December 8, 1962. They were meant to be together as they were born on the same day, same year and a just few miles apart. Jim loved his family and spending time with all the grandchildren whether it was hunting, fishing, cookouts or just visiting and playing jokes on everyone.

Jim moved his family to Jacksonville in the early 70's for work and started his career as a plumber. He since built a successful commercial plumbing company with his Son Danny. His grandsons Jason and Ethan later joined the company as well.

Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman which he shared with his children and grandchildren all of his life. He loved his garden and had the magic touch to grow anything. He will forever be missed and in our hearts.

Family will accept visitors on Saturday, October 25th at 11:00 followed by funeral services at 12:00 pm at Joe P. Burns funeral home in Perry, Fl.
