JIMMEE MANGUS 04/06/1948 - 10/28/2025 Jimmee LaDon Mangus, 77, of Wellston, Okla., passed peacefully from this life in her home on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Jimmee was born in Shawnee, Okla., on April 6, 1948, to James and Christena (Morrell) Villines Jimmee was adored by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never sought the limelight, but she was loved by many family and friends as she touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Jimmee leaves behind her devoted husband of 58 years, Virgil Mangus; three heartbroken daughters, LeeAnne and Jody Miller of Nocona, Texas, Cindy and Tommy McElroy, Wellston, and April Stapleton, Pittsburg, Kan.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and countless other family and friends. Memorial Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Mammoth Baptist Church, Meeker, Okla., with Pastor Mike Hazelwood officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
