Jimmie Allen Obituary

Jimmie worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for over 20 years before his retirement. He attended the Iron Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. He had a large collection of guitars and was a highly skilled guitarist. He loved old westerns, watching FOX News and music videos.
Jimmie is survived by his loving wife Deborah Allen; children, Donovan and wife Tammy Maguffee, and Sharla and Jim Ford; six grandchildren, Abbi Maguffee, Treton Attwell, Jake King, Zayden Hamilton, Zekia Ford and wife Karis, Jimbo Ford, and Bryeli Bullock; eleven great grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Herring, Denise Bird, Terry Allen; sister-in-law Loneta Whitson and brother-in-law, Scott Peairson.
Jimmie was predeceased by his parents, Isaac Leon and Ruby Jean Allen.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday. May 30, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home, 12649 Lake June Rd., Mesquite, TX 75180.
