Jimmie Finley, 79, of Logan, passed away Monday, September 9, 2024, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born May 19, 1945, in Redfox, Kentucky, son of the late Linville and Theo Caudill Finley. Jimmie was married for 59 years to Angela Blair Finley, who survives.
He retired from Logan Clay Products after 26 years and dedicated his life to serving the Lord, Jesus Christ. Jimmie was an avid camper and fisherman, who loved carving and woodworking. He was a faithful member at Capstone Life Tabernacle Church and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Teresa (Kevin) Suttles of Logan, Randy (Marla) Finley of Logan, Jeremy (Jessica) Finley of Logan and Timothy (Amy) Finley of Logan; grandchildren, Titus (Kristyn) Suttles, Makala Finley, Clayton Finley, Jenna Finley, Colton Finley, Victor Finley, Alex (Tiffany) Finley, Clara Finley and Melissa Finley; great grandchildren, Emily, Aurora, Lynlee and Parker Suttles and Matthew Finley; sister, Lois (H) Thomas of Logan and many nieces and nephews who affectionately called him Bobo.
In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his siblings, Faye Caudill, Donna Neal, Robert Finley, Zredah Kepics, Loraine Cabis, Les Finley and Kathleen Thomas.
A funeral service will be held 1 p.m., Friday, September 13, 2024, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Stephen DeLong officiating. Interment will be in Gore Cemetery, Gore. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
