Jimmie Franks Obituary

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fruitdale,AL. He was known for always being helpful and humorous. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing. He was a tree surgeon for the city of Delano, Fl. He was a mechanic all his life, as well as working in the pulp wood industry.
On October 30th 2025, Jimmie departed this life. He leaves to cherish his memories: his son Johnathan (Jon Jon) Rogers; three surviving sisters: Elnora (Willie) Franks Petties both of Stateline, Ms, Verlean (Charles) Franks Chambers both of Waynesboro Ms, and Trudy (Authur) Franks Shephard both of Citronelle AL.
He didn't have any grandchildren but he has a host of nieces and nephews that he loved. He will also be missed by his close friends Rufus, Ivory, and Jimmie Gandy.
Funeral services will occur Friday, November 7, 2025 at 2:30 PM at State Line Cemetery, with Minister Micheal Franks as the officiant.
