Jimmie Lowe

Jimmie Lowe, 85, of Lake Park, died on Friday, October 20, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. He was born on October 31, 1937, in Bainbridge, Georgia to the late George Leonard (G.L.), and Ruby Cloud Lowe. Mr. Lowe retired from the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Master Seargent and worked in air operations. He also had served in Viet Nam. He was a member of Central Avenue Church of Christ.
Mr. Lowe is survived by his wife, Martha McLeod Lowe of Lake Park; two daughters and a son-in-law, Brenda Kelley of Lake Park, and Cheryl and Ken Gallagher of Valdosta; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Andrea Lowe of Acworth, Georgia; two grandchildren, Lauren Washburn and her husband Chris, and Heather Kelley; great-grandchildren, Michael Washburn, Aubrey Washburn and Emma Jayne Cardin; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Daniel Cooksey of Crawfordville, Florida; his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Coby Lowe of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Services for Jimmie Lowe will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11 a.m. at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Pavilion. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Pavilion Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Carson McLane
