Jimmie Lee McCutcheon

Jimmie Lee McCutcheon, 93, of Mt. Judea, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his home.
He was born July 23, 1932, at Cave Creek, to William Franklin and Madgie Ardith Hefley McCutcheon. Mr. McCutcheon was a man of deep and abiding faith. He faithfully served the Lord as a Church of Christ preacher of the Gospel for 52 years, touching countless lives through his preaching, counsel, and quiet example. Outside the pulpit, he found joy in fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors, but his greatest joy was time spent with his family, whom he loved dearly. On May 29, 1954, at Cave Creek, he married the love of his life and best friend, Jessie Lee Eddings, and together they shared 71 years of love, devotion, and compassion. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Donald Greenhaw; three sisters, Bobbie Jo Bolinger, Laura Lane, and Reba Kathleen Shaddox; five brothers, Gerald, Vearl, Will, Doyl, and Lavoyd McCutcheon; and one grandson, Joey Franklin McCutcheon.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Lee McCutcheon; four sons, Rockie (Sheila) McCutcheon of Vendor; Joey (Chloette) McCutcheon of Mt. Judea; Anthony (Tochia) McCutcheon of Nail; and Kevin (Leslie) McCutcheon of Harrison; one daughter, Eunice Bolin and partner Rick Stewart of Western Grove; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Holt Memorial Chapel with Bro. Evan Welch officiating. Burial will follow the service at Carver cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home on Thursday.
