Jimmie was anyone of my older brothers. He was 6 yrs older than me. Growing up with Jimmie I remember him pulling pranks whenever he could. Sometime after high school, before entering the Navy, he was a volunteer fire fighter for the Winston fire dept. Every time the whistle blew (might have been a horn) Jimmie would head down to the fire station and on to a fire. He really enjoyed being a part of the fire dept.
