Mr. Jimmie Lee Pinkston was born April 4, 1958 to the late Louise Pinkston and Elmer Bullock in Louise, Mississippi. He departed this life November 30, 2024 after a brief illness.

 

Jimmie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Big Mt Zion Baptist Church in Louise, Mississippi under the leadership of G.H. Hankins. Jimmie attended Humphreys County Public School in Belzoni, Mississippi and he later relocated to Mansfield, Ohio where he made his home for more than 40 years.

 

Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, Paternal Grandparents who raised him Gus Pinkston Sr. and Cordia Langston Pinkston, two brothers Herbert Pinkston and Andy Williams. One sister, Peggy Ann Pinkston. Five Aunts Betty Lambert, Barbara, Gladys, Mary, and Ruth Pinkston. Three uncles Gus, Lewis, and James Pinkston.

 

Jimmie leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers Raymond Pinkston of Louise, Mississippi and Daniel Williams of Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin. 1 Sister Joanne (Ephron) Womack of Jackson, Mississippi. 1 Uncle Joseph (Danette) Pinkston of Louise, Mississippi 3 Aunts Elois (James) Taylor, Dorothy Pinkston, and one special Aunt Ruby Pinkston all of Mansfield, Ohio. 6 nieces,3 nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
