Jimmie Dale Rogers

A Glasgow resident, formerly of Spencer County, Mr. Jimmie Dale Rogers, age 73, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at his residence. He was born December 30, 1951 in Spencer County to the late Leo and Viola Washburn Rogers. Jimmie was a retired electrician. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and loved riding around the countryside. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Carol Clements Rogers and a brother, David Rogers. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Kathy) Rogers of Mt. Eden and Dereck (Beth) Rogers of Glasgow, 3 grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Rogers, Taylor Rogers and Collin Rogers, and 2 sisters, Glenna Mae Grider and Betty Jean Rogers, both of Taylorsville. Funeral services for Mr. Jimmie Dale Rogers will be 2:00 pm Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home in Taylorsville. Bro. Kevin Flannagin will officiate. Interment will be in Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00-8:00 pm and Thursday after 9:00 am until time of the funeral service. The Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
