Jimmy D. Cochran, 68, died peacefully at home, on August 4, 2023. He was born on April 15, 1955, in Lebanon, Oregon, son of Billy W. Sr. and Evelyn J. (Epperson) Cochran.
Jimmy went to school in Granger, Washington. He worked various jobs throughout his life.
Jimmy met the love of his life, Brenda Haley, in 1994, and they spent the last 29 years together. They had many adventures over the years.
Jimmy loved to spend time with his family. He especially enjoyed being outdoors, camping, and fishing.
Jimmy was a loving and caring person. He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who loved him wholeheartedly. He appreciated any time spent with them.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his wife, Brenda (Haley) Cochran, his parents, Billy W. Cochran Sr., and Evelyn J. Baldwin, and his son, Donald Ray Cochran. He is survived by his children, Amber Elaine, Jennifer Dawn, Jimmy Jr., and Joey, stepchildren, Adam Elizondo, Amber Cliett (Tyler), Andre Savala (Amber), Sara Savala, and Ashlie Pearce, 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, siblings, Bill Cochran Jr. (Becky), Debra Ashby, Mary Milton, Patricia Simmons (Albert), and Ricky Cochran, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He is greatly missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 1:00pm, at Zillah Mountain View Fellowship Church (1504 2nd Ave.). All are welcome to bring a potluck dish and memories of Jimmy to share.
