A celebration of life for Jimmy Allen “Pop” Davis, 71, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
Jimmy was born on July 18, 1953, in Glasgow, Kentucky and passed away on January 23, 2025, in Monroe, Louisiana.
Jimmy affectionately known as “Pop” was a well-respected businessman and beloved friend throughout the community. He wore many hats: Dad, Pops, Papaw, and Boss but his favorite one to wear was his Westgate Trucker Style hat. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He was also a member of the Mason Grand Lodge of Louisiana F.A.M. To know “Pops was to love him and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Aline Davis.
Those left to his memory are his wife, Lenora Davis; children, Robbie Davis, Angela Davis, James Allen Davis and his wife, Sabrina; grandchildren, Bailey Davis, Brice Davis, Ellie Davis, Brooke Beattie, Jake Beattie, Oaklee Davis, and little Jimmy Davis who is due in 2025; great grandchild, Beckham Bell; brother, Paul Davis; dear friend and secretary, Marilyn Littleton; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, loved ones, and beloved friends.
