Jimmy Elrod Obituary
Jimmy was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega. He was an avid hunter who also enjoyed fishing. A man of his word, he always spoke his mind, and you never had to wonder where you stood with him. If you were his friend, you were his friend for life. Mr. Elrod loved his family deeply which he proved through his actions. He was a wonderful provider and "Paw-Paw" who will be missed greatly.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Elrod; father, Jack Elrod; mother, Lynne Elrod; brother, Rusty Elrod, and sister, Janice Elrod.
Mr. Elrod is survived by his son, Tyler Wheatt, aunts, Neva Jean Coe and Joan Coker, and a host of beloved cousins and friends.
