At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, at which time Father Sam will pray the Rosary, followed by Services.
Jimy is survived by two sons, Jimmy Fontenot, Jr., "Bill" William James Fontenot; two daughters, Helen Marie Fontenot, Delia Renee Darbonne; two step-daughters, Laurie Ann Richter Barnwell, Melissa Marie Richter; two half-sisters, Laura Guillory, Sandra Leger and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Aldes Fontenot, Sr. and Delia Shuff Fontenot; three brothers, Aldes Fontenot, Jr., Vinel Fontenot, Sr., Ira Fontenot; two half-sisters, Kathy Fontenot and Susan Fontenot.
