Jimmy Allen Gentry, age 77, of Albertville, Alabama, passed away on November 26, 2025, at his residence. He was born on August 22, 1948, to the late Earl and Ruth Gentry.

Jimmy was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. He had a lifelong passion for tinkering and restoring old antique muscle cars, and he took great pride in bringing them back to life. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Vickie Gentry; daughter, DeAnn Gentry-Haney (Mark); grandchildren, Pacia Gautney and Kenneth Gautney (Skylar); and siblings, Glenece Bonds (Bill), Wayne Gentry (Linda), and Sarah Glassco (Gary).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James Earl Gentry and Elizabeth Mullinax.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home with Bro. Wiley Bailey and Brandon Gentry officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Gautney, Brandon Gentry, Brian Gentry, Benny Tidwell, Dale Bryant, and Taylor Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles McCauley, Donnie Weaver, and Gary Long.
