Jimmy Harold Glanton born January 31,1968, in Vivian, Louisiana to Harold and Shirley (Allborty) Glanton and he passed away at his home on Saturday, September 13, 2025, surrounded by his family! He was a Louisiana resident for the majority of his 57 years!

Jimmy was a jack of all trades he did everything from working oilfield to trucking! He was a very hard worker and a great provider. He loved his role of being PawPaw J and his grandkids were his life! His hobbies included beekeeping, gardening, chicken chasing (home steading), collecting cars, and anything he desired, he collected, he loved fishing, and doing family cook outs! He was an outdoors man through and through. His favorite past time was bird watching & spending time with his uncle Pete Allborty! He always was a very understanding man with a heart of gold & a mouth of the south! He loved aggravating his kids and grandkids you should have seen his face when he made you mad! That was simply his way of saying he loved you!

He is preceded in death and now reunited with his Granny Pearl; brother, Tommy; uncles, Leon and Buck; and one of his closest friends, Tiger.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Glanton and wife, Jessica, Tiffany Cornett and husband, Robert, James Stevens and wife, Aundra, and Sandra Alexander and husband, Chuckie; his grandchildren, aka "his greatest achievements", Ricco Glanton & unborn child, Elizabeth Megill, Robert Cornett Jr., Jadyn, Wesson, Paisley, Serenity and unborn baby, Stevens and Chance Alexander.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Aulds Funeral Home, 7849 East Kings Highway, Shreveport, Louisiana, 71115.
