Jimmy P. Goodvin

I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Jim at Auto Owners. Good and kind, and a wonderful person. He helped shape and mold many in our industry - Thank you Jim. Thoughts and prayers for the family. He will be missed.

Rest in peace dear friend. I have fond memories of working together at Auto-Owners and keeping in touch for years after I left. You will be greatly missed.

I met Jim in 2009 at my favorite coffee shop. We hit it off immediately when he leaned my husband was also a Marine. I moved to the East Coast in 2011 but we always talked on Marine Corps birthday and our birthdays. Semper Fi my friend.

Jim recruited me to work at A-O. He was a lot of things but mostly being confident in his own abilities. RIP Jim, your insurance buddy

He was an amazing man. He accomplished a lot in his life! A hard working man like they used to make them.

One of the earliest memories of my cousin Jimmy was shortly after he was discharged from the Marine Corps. He gave me one of his Marine Corps caps with a bronze EGA insignia pinned on it. As a young 13 year old, it became one of my favorite items and lead me to want to join the Marines (which I did not) and learn to play the Marine´s Hymn on the piano (which I did). When I was moving from Michigan to Arizona, Jim was the first insurance person that I talked to. Jim gave me great advice on the Arizona marketplace. Later I would run into Jim when he started the agency and I helped him obtain some insurance coverage for his operation. Jim was always kind, professional and great to talk with about a variety of subjects.
